Fairy Dust

We are holding another awesome challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.  Our Sponsor this month is Peppercus.

I choose this darling little fairy to create a CAS Hello Card.  This fairy is spreading her fairy dust all over the lady bugs.

I printed the image and colored it with my copic markers.

Once I was finished coloring, I choose an oval die to cut the image out, I used some pattern paper I had from my stash along with a few Wild Orchid Craft flowers to create this Clean and Simple card.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that you will join in over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends for our Challenge #80.  We look forward in seeing what you have created.

With Sympathy

Our sponsor over at Crafty Creations Challenge for Challenge #364 is Fred She Said.  The image I have chosen for my card is  Fall Flowers.  I wanted to create something with flowers for this challenge.  We all hate to need Sympathy cards, but it's always good to have a few on hand and my supply was a little low.

I colored the Black Eyed Susan with various copic markers and colored the sentiment with the same markers creating a gradient effect.

The sentiment die is from My Favorite Things.  The patterned papers are from my stash.

I hope you enjoy this cute little clean and simple card.  Come on over to Crafty Creations Challenges and play along in the challenge.  We look forward in seeing what you have created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Serenity Fairy Wishes Photo Album

I needed a birthday gift for a very dear cousin.  So I decided to make a photo album.  It's been awhile since I made one.

I wanted to use Fairies so I went looking for a digital set and found these from Polkadoodles.

The album design is from Laura Dennison and is called the Z Flap.

Here is a close up of the bow.

I colored all of the images with copic markers, inked the edges on the pages with a Distress Oxide Ink.  Embelishments on the front cover are mostly from Recollections.

Here are a few more photos of some of the fairies.  I hope I do not bore you with all the photos.

I hope you hop on over to the Craft-Dee BowZ April Challenge of Anything Goes with a Handmade bow.  We would love to see what you create.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Friends are your Umbrella

I have some of the best friends in the whole world.  There is five of us.  I met 2 of them in 5th grade and the other 2 when we were Freshmen in HS.

We have been through all sorts of good times, bad times and really sad times throughout the years.  We were there for each other when we were married and in each others weddings, when we had our babies, when some of us have lost parents.  And just this past year 3 of us have lost our husbands, 2 by death and 1 by divorce.  And again we were there for each other through it all.  We are best friends because we care about each other and love each other.  There is nothing like a best friend.

This cute little image from Bugaboo pretty much says it all "when it rains it pours" and you know that good friends stay with you in all sorts of weather.

After printing the image I colored it up with various copic markers.

I created a bow using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool, layered up some pattern papers, added the "friend" die and this card was finished.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit today.  I hope that you have enjoyed this little CAS card and hoping that you will hop on over to the Craft-Dee BowZ blog and play along with us in our April Anything Goes with a Handmade bow challenge.
