Sending Get Well Wishes

I created this little card for a friend that is a little under the weather. The image is from Fred She Said and can be found here.

I colored it with various Copic Markers, cut out the ovals in a piece of very light pink and a piece of white CS. I then added the image to a top fold card base, then placed the next layer with the smaller oval cut and then the pink with the larger oval cut on top of the pink, but added some dimensionals to give it a little something more.

I pulled a stick pin out of my stash and added some flowers, a metal butterfly charm and then the paper butterfly. Added the Simon Says sentiment "Sending" to the card, added some clear dew drops to the card and she was finished.

Lilly the Dancing Princess

This cute little image is from MoonFlower images. She reminds me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

I colored the image with various Copic markers, cut her out with a spellbinders die. Layered some colored CS from my stash, added a few flowers and some Nuevo Crystal Drops. I didn't have just the right sentiment so this card can is a blank card and can be used as a Thinking of You, Get Well or just whatever you want it to be.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please come on over and join in on all the fun over at Crafty Creations Challenges for Challenge #368. Our sponsor this month is MoonFlower Images.

Until next time,

"Just for You"

Hi there and it is my turn to host our challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ. Please go on over and enter June challenge. Our sponsor this month is Bugaboo.

For my hosting project, I created a card that resembled a wrapped gift. I wanted to use this Stamping Bella Butterfly stamp. I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper and colored her with various Copic markers. Then I stamped it the second time and colored only the wings. After cutting the image out and then just cutting the wings out of the second stamped image, I adhered the separate wings onto the top of the first image.

I had this idea in my head that I wanted to place the image onto a big bow. I pulled out my Craft-Dee BowZ tool and created a double loop bow, then created a triple loop bow. I then created a gradient piece of card stock using my Distress Oxide inks in Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick. I placed some ribbon as if to appear it was wrapped around a present. Then I found the Just for You sentiment from My Favorite Things in my stash. Stamped it with Versamark ink, embossed it with white embossing powder and used the Worn Lipstick to add color to the tag.

I added the double loop bow onto the inked 6x6 and then placed the triple loop bow on top of the double. I decided to add some sequins and beads to the bow, added the tag and last but not least added my image and my "present card" was finished.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope that I have inspired you. We really look forward in you stopping over at Craft-Dee BowZ and join in on this months challenge. As always our theme is Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow. While you are there if you have not already picked up you Craft-Dee BowZ tool, do so, you won't regret it.

Until next time,
Kathy

From the Whole Herd

Happy Birthday from the Whole Herd. Just the perfect birthday card from a bunch or people or a working department right?

I love this little image from Bugaboo, who just happens to be our June sponsor over at
Craft-Dee BowZ. I mean who doesn't love a bunch of farm animals stacked up on each
other's back.

This image reminds me of my Grandparent's farm when I was little, they had cows,
chickens, ducks and bunnies, the only thing lacking was the pigs. My Grandpa just didn't
deal with pigs, but a lot of other relatives who were farmers did.

I colored the image with my Copic markers.  I love my Copics so much I just can't
get enough of them,  They blend so beautifully. Once I finished coloring the image I
layered it up with some different patterned papers from my stash.

I created a triple loop bow with my Craft-Dee BowZ bow tool. Have I mentioned before
how awesome this tool is. It makes making the perfect bow such a breeze. You can pick up
your very own bow maker here.

I hope you will hop on over to Craft-Dee BowZ and join in our June Anything Goes with
a Handmade Bow Challenge. Oh and be sure to visit our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps, she
has some really darling digital images to choose from.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by.
