Thank You Cards

Have I mentioned what an inspiration Nichol Spohr is to me when it comes to card creation.  She created very similar cards to these for the beginning of StampTEMBER 2018.  The only difference is the sentiments and the color combos on the flowers.

Below is a picture of the 2 cards that I created using the Beautiful Flowers 2 Stamp and Die set from Simon Says Stamp.

I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to color the images after embossing them with SSS Fine Antique Gold embossing powder.  I created both backgrounds with the SSS Mod Stripe Stencil and Distress Oxides in Tattered Rose and Aged Maghony.

The "Thinking of You" sentiment came from the SSS Thoughtful Messages stamp set.

And the "Sending Thanks" came from the Beautiful Flowers 2 stamp set.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards today and if you have never visited Nichol's blog before please do.  She is never a disapointment.

Until next time,
Kathy

Pretty in Pink

I created this cute little Ballerina for our Crafty Creations Challenge that we are having.  It is from Kinda Cute Cards by Patricia.

I wanted to incorporate a bit of a Valentine theme and decided to use my Love die from Simon Says Stamp, along with some pink and black CS and of course a pink dancing costume.

After printing the image I used various Copic markers from the RV family.  The papers are from my stash.

I wanted to add a bow on the front of the card.  Don't all Ballerina's have a bow somewhere.

I think the black CS really makes the pink pop on this card, don't you.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope I have inspired you and you stop over at Crafty CreationsChallenges and join in on our Challenge #358.  As always the theme is Anything Goes and we look forward in seeing what you create.

Hugs,

CC Designs Garden Nancy Birthday Card

I started out by stamping Garden Nancy from CC Designs onto Neenah Solar White CS and colored her up with my Copic markers.  Various colors.

After coloring the image I used a Stitched Oval die to cut her out, with foam tape, I mounted the image onto a Sizzix scallop oval die.  I also cut 2 other ovals dies from pattern paper.  I cut a watering can from an Impression Obsession die and some flowers from various flower dies.

The butterfly die is an unknown die from my stash.

Here is a closer look at the image.  Isn't she cute?

I added a bow that I made with my Craft-Dee BowZ tool and added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Added a sentiment on the front and inside to finish it all up.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed.
