Team Birthday Card #4

Here is another Co-worker's Birthday card for 2017.

First I printed this cute little ballerina onto Neenah Solar White card stock. The image is Abi Ballerina  from All Dressed Up.  Isn't she adorable.

I colored her with my copic markers:

  • Around image I used N0 & N1
  • Skin - E21, E00, E000 and E0000
  • Cheeks - R11 & R12
  • Eyes - G20
  • Hair E40, E42, E43, E44 and E47
  • Purples - BV0000, BV000, BV00, BV01 & BV02

Then I started building the card.  I cut the image with a stitched square die, then cut a card base 10x5" and scored it at 5".  I cut a piece of white card stock at 4 7/8" square, inked up a background stamp from Impression Obsession with Versa Mark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder from Brutus Monroe.  Zapped with with my heat gun and then blended some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks in Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick.  I love this technique.  I placed the inked layer onto a 5x5 pink piece of card stock which I placed onto the card base.

I added a piece of ribbon around the end of the main image, which I backed with foam tape.  I placed this on top of the blended piece and last but not least I made the cute little bow using a Craft-Dee Bowz bow maker, put some Nuvo Crystal drops on the card and called it done.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you like this cute little card.  The recipient Emma really did.

Stayed tuned because I will have more cards to share with you guys in the near future.

Gary's Birthday Card

I have a CAS to share.  I created this card for my hubby's birthday.   I love how it turned out and it was so simple.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks and blended them onto a piece of Strathmore card stock. Oh my these inks blend like butter.  They are absolutely wonderful.

Then I used a retired MFT Dienamics die to cut the feathers.  Mounted them onto another piece of card stock and created my base with a piece of black card stock.  Sentiment comes from Reverse Confetti.

I hope you like it.
