Peace on Earth

It's been a little while since I have posted.  A lot has been going on, but I do have a card to share with you today.  I created these cute little caroling snowmen for my DT project for the November 1, Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow for Craft-Dee BowZ.  Our sponsor for the month is Beccy's Place.  She has some of the cutest images.

For my card, I started out by stamping snowflakes and embossing them with white embossing powder, I blended some Distress Oxide Ink in Broken China onto a piece of Strathmore Bristol smooth cardstock.  After that I used a distress sprayer to lift off some of the ink with the droplets that was created with the sprayer.

I colored the snowmen with my Copic Markers using various colors.  Then I cut them out and placed them on the background piece I created. I added some snow drifts and then I added some BoBunny Sugar Paste to the snow drifts and to the snowmen.

Last but not least I created a bow using my Craft-Dee BowZ Tool maker.  This tool is so awesome it makes the perfect bow every time.  You can get one of these awesome bow makers here.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today and I really hope I have inspired you.

Please come back and visit again.

Hugs,
Kathy

Happy Summer

Let me start with I am so excited and thrilled to have been asked to join the Craft-Dee Bowz Design Team. It is an honor and privilege to be able to work with such amazing women on this team.  I have been dreaming of an opportunity like this for a while now and it has finally come true.

So here for my very first project and for the July's monthly challenge over at Craft-Dee Bowz, with the theme as always "Anything goes with a handmade bow."

The sponsor for this month's challenge is Bugaboo Stamps.  They will be offering the lucky winner 3 single digi images of their choice.  They have some adorable and fabulous images.

This particular image is called Bug Kidz Daisy.  Isn't she just adorable.

First I printed the image on Neenah Solar White 80 lb. card stock, colored her up with my copics and cut her out.

Copic markers used
Skin:  E04, 11, 21, 00, 000, 93 and R20
Hair:  Y21, 26, 28 and E35
Yellows:  YR24, Y17, 15, 13 & 11
Daisy Petals:  E41, 40 and colorless blender
Flower centers:  E35, 33, YR24 and 21
Reds:  R46, 27 and 24
Shoes:  N8, 6, 4 and 2

Flowers are from Wild Orchard Crafts.  The dies are made using the  LRDS  Allifair Build a Card and can be found here at 7 Kids Crafting Supplies.  Papers are from my stash.  I used Distress Oxide Inks for the background.

The bow was made using the amazing Craft-Dee Bowz bow maker which can be found here.  Easy Peasy and makes a perfect bow every time.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like my card.  And please join in the fun over at Craft-Dee Bowz and play along with us.

Hugs,
Kathy
