Kandi Kane

Wow, it's December already.  Where has this year gone?

The card I have to share with you today is an image from LeeAnn;s World 101 Digital Stamps by the name of  Kandi Kane.   This shop just happens to be our sponsor over at Craft-Dee BowZ for the month of December.

I created a shaker card using this sweet image.  I haven't created a shaker in a long time and almost forgot how to do it.  In fact I didn't double up on my foam tape and had to start all over.

But anyway this is what I came up using this darling image.

I colored the image up with various Copic Markers, cut her out and added some final touches with wink of stella and some gel pens.  Then I created a bow with my Craft-Dee BowZ tool and this cute little Christmas Shaker card was finished.

Here is a closer look at the bow, I added a bit of bling to the center.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you will hop on over to Craft-Dee BowZ and join in on our monthly challenge.  The theme as always is Anything Goes.

Be sure to visit our sponsor LeeAnn;s World 101.  She has some really awesome images.

Until next time,
Kathy

Ben the Penguin

This is Ben the Penguin from Mo's Digital Pencil and I have used this darling penguin to create my card for you today plus it is my turn to post for Craft-Dee BowZ this month.

I decided on a Clean and Simple card for this image and used my Copics to color him up.  The pattern papers I have used are from my stash.

My card base is a piece of Kraft CS cut to 12" x 6" and scored at 6".  The red piece is cut to 5.75" square, the green pine tree piece is cut to 4.75" square and the piece the penguin was colored on was cut with a die.  I popped the colored and the sentiment piece up on foam tape, placed it on the card.

My bow was made using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool, you can purchase one here.

I hope I have inspired you today and you will hop on over to join in for this month's challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ.  Our theme as always is Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.

Hugs,
Kathy

Believe

Hi there I have a Crafty Creations Challenges Design Team card to share with you today.  The image is from Bugaboo and is called Elf 001.  I love how this little elf is running around with a string of ornaments like he just isn't sure what to do with them.

I colored my little elf with Copic markers keeping this card clean and simple. Added a little glitter to the trim on his hat, glossy accents to the ornaments and the bells on his shoes and hat.

Layered up a few papers I found in my stash and added the colored image on top of the layers.  Then I topped it off with a Simon Says Die - Believe.  The die is so cool, it has what is called bubble that fits right behind the word die, giving it more dimension.  I stamped the rest of the sentiment with a sentiment in the Believe Stamp Set and popped it up like the die with some foam tape.

Please remember to come join us over at Crafty Creations Challenges #356 for our monthly challenge.  As always our theme is Anything Goes.  We look forward in you joining in on our challenge and can't wait to see what you have created.

See you next time.

Hugs,
Kathy

Winter Fox

Hi there I have a Craft-Dee BowZ Design Team card to share with you today.  The image is from Cute As a Button Stamps, called Winter Fox.  This darling little girls coat reminds me of a coat my daughter had when she was five.  However hers was red and not pink.  I believe I will make her a card and color the coat in red.

The papers I used were from a 12x12 paper pack that I had purchased a year ago to make photo albums.  I colored the image with my go color medium, "Copics".  I love my copics.

I added some little flecks of Stampendous Chunky Embossing flakes in white and heated them from the back side of the colored image so they would melt from the back and not fly away.

Different papers were layered together before adding the colored layer.  Then added some snow flakes cut from the small Lawn Fawn snowflake dies to embellish.  Added a pink bow that I made with my Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  Bows have never been so easily made and I never waste any ribbon using the bow tool.  You can pick your very own Craft-Dee BowZ tool up here.

Please remember to come join us over at Craft-Dee BowZ for our monthly challenge.  As always our theme is Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.  We look forward in you joining in on our challenge and can't wait to see what you have created.

See you next time.

Hugs,
Kathy

Merry Kissmas

With the weather getting more chilly here in SW Ohio, and the holidays fast approaching, I thought I would create a chilly looking card.

The stamp set I have chosen is Holiday Smooches from Newton's Nook.  I decided to create a shaker card for my project.

First I cut two 4 1/2" squares.  I die cut the circle out of one of the pieces, then I inked up the piece with some Distress Oxide ink in Salty Ocean. Then I cut a smaller square with a piece of acetate.  I stamped some snowflakes on the acetate with Cotton White Staz-On ink.

I stamped the polar bears, mistletoe and hearts from the stamp set.  Colored them using my Zig Clean Real Brush markers.  I die cut some snowflakes with the small Snowflake die from Lawn Fawn, filled the shaker area with some seed beads, and a snowflake mixture.  Stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Last but not least, I created my bow using the Craft-Dee BowZ bow maker.

This tool makes the perfect bow every time and is so so easy to use.  If you have not gotten your bow maker, what's holding you back.  You won't regret it, they truly are awesome.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope I have inspired you.  Please be sure to visit us and join in for our November Anything Goes with handmade bow challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ,  We look forward in seeing what you have created.

Hugs
