Christmas Skates

It is with sadness that this will be my last post with Crafty Creations Challenges as the blog challenge comes to an end.  So for this last card I have to share with you is an image from Jan's Digi Stamps by the name of  Christmas Skates.  Nothing like a pair of ice skates.  Jan's Digis is our last sponsor at Crafty Creations Challenges for the month of December, 2021, Challenge #428.

I colored the image up with various Copic Markers.  Cut it out with a round die and then I cut the sentiment out with a smaller round die.    I created a background using some Distress Oxide inks in different shades of blue onto a 5.75" square which I spattered with water.  Then I added the round die images onto the blue square and added that onto a 6x6" card base to finish off the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you will hop on over to Crafty Creations Challenges and join in on our last challenge.  The theme as always is Anything Goes.

A Cheerful Snowman

The card I have to share with you today is an image from The Paper Shelter by the name of  A Cheerful Snowman.  I absolutely love snowmen and a snowman in blue green is simply awesome in my eyes.  The Paper Shelter just happens to be our sponsor over at Crafty Creations Challenges for the month of January, 2021.

I colored the image up with various blue green, a touch of gray and blue violet  Copic Markers.  Then I cut the snowman out, added some color to a 5.75x5.75 piece of CS with some Distress Oxide ink in Evergreen Bough. I spritzed the background with water.  Created a sentiment with my computer and colored it with some of the same blue green Copics.  I used a few snowflakes from a stamp set which I embossed with some white embossing powder.  After my background was finished I added the snowman and the sentiment with some pop dots.  Then I added the background to a 6x6 card base and my card was finished.

It's Tensel Time

It's my turn to host over at Craft-Dee-BowZ.

For my project, I created this very simple but cute card using a stamp set that I had bought last year from Avery Elle. I wanted a black and white card with a touch of red, so I stamped two of my favorite trees and then stamped the snowy hillside all in black ink. And then the sentiment in red. Last but not least I added some of the falling snow from the stamp set and my stamping was finished.

Then I created a bow using my Craft-Dee-BowZ tool and adhered it to the card and my simple but yet cute card was finished.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is The Paper Shelter.

She has some adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy.

Welcome Fall

For my card today, it was my turn to host over at Craft-Dee-BowZ.

For my project, I created this cute card using the front door dies from Spellbinder Dies.  I cut out all of the pieces for the front door.  Then I used some Tim Holtz Grit paste and a brick stencil to create the front of the house.  After I created this piece I then started building the front door.  Then I created a Fall Wreath, placed the card front onto an A2 size card base and my Welcome Fall card was almost finished.

Boo

Hey there, it is my turn to host over at Craft-Dee BowZ and for my hosting project I created a Trick-or-Treat Haunted House Box.

For my hosting project, I created a haunted house box, using a few Spellbinder Dies. I cut 2 pieces of the house, then I did some ink blending using Distress Oxide inks around the edges. After the edges were inked I used a brick stencil to create bricks. Then I cut the windows and the door, after cutting those I cut out a tree, cat, fence and some bats.

I made the bow using my Craft-Dee-BowZ tool and adhered it to the roof.

I plan on creating several of these cute little boxes so I can fill them with candy for the special Trick-or-Treaters that always come by my house.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge. Our sponsor for the this month is Gerda Steiner Designs.

She has some adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy. Up next is Tracey.

Until next time,
