Do You Believe in Fairies

Have you ever believed in Fairies?  As a child I always wondered if there really was fairies.  After all my mother said there was a tooth fairy, so why wouldn't there be Fairies?

And when I seen this pretty little fairy I just had to have her.  It brought back sweet childhood memories for me.

 After coloring her with my Copic markers, I layered a snowflake border die from memory Box, added a word die from my stash and added some snowflake stickers.  Added some details with glitter and a gel pen and finished up my card.

New Years Eve Birthday Wishes

A Winter Fairy for a New Year's Eve birthday is everyone's wish right?  This adorable Winter Fairy from Mo's Digital Pencil is wishing someone a Happy Birthday on the last day of the year.  

After I printed the fairy, I colored her up with my Copic markers.

Skin: BV00, E11, 21, 00 ,000 & R20

Hair:  E41, 42, 43, 44, 47 and 49

Wings, Pom-Poms and Leg Warmers:  C1, BV000, BG10 & Colorless Blender

Greens:  G000, 00, 01, 02, 05 and C3 to deepen the shadows

Image Outlined with W1 & 0

B01, 00 & 000 to ground the image

Additional embellishments used:  glitter and white gel pens to add details and highlights and glitter was added to the wings.  Card stocks used green and silver glitter, pale green print and solid green all from my stash.  Sentiment is from a Mama Elephant stamp set.

Welcome Spring

Hello, I have a card to share with you today.  It is called Welcome Spring.  The image is a digital from Mo's Digital Pencil.

To start out, I printed the  image onto Neenah Solar White paper.  Then I colored her up with my Copic Markers.

Colors I used were:

Skin - E00, E93, V12 & R20

Hair - E42, E43, E44, & E47

Bottoms - RV25, RV23 & RV21

Daffodil - YR24, Y19, Y17, Y15 & Y11, YG21, YG25 & Y04

Wings - BV0000, BV000, BV00, RV23, & RV21

 

This digital image came with the Welcome Spring sentiment and the William Wordsworth poem.  Patterned papers came from my stash. Dies used were rectangle dies from Lawn Fawn and also from Cottage Cutz..
