It's Tensel Time

It's my turn to host over at Craft-Dee-BowZ.

For my project, I created this very simple but cute card using a stamp set that I had bought last year from Avery Elle. I wanted a black and white card with a touch of red, so I stamped two of my favorite trees and then stamped the snowy hillside all in black ink. And then the sentiment in red. Last but not least I added some of the falling snow from the stamp set and my stamping was finished.

Then I created a bow using my Craft-Dee-BowZ tool and adhered it to the card and my simple but yet cute card was finished.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is The Paper Shelter.

She has some adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy.

Red and Green Ornaments

The card I have to share with you today is an image from Jan's Digi Stamps by the name of  Ornaments.  I have been making a lot of Christmas cards with ornaments this year.  When I seen this image I just had to have it.  And guess what it's free so go grab it while you can.  Jan's Digi Stamps just happens to be our sponsor over at Crafty Creations Challenges for the month of December, 2020.

I colored the image up with various red and green Copic Markers adding shading in areas where I thought there should be.  Then I took a gold and silver and gel pen to add the detail on the ornaments.  I then colored the bow in different shades of yellow copics.  I added the card onto a piece of printed design paper and layered it to the card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you will hop on over to Crafty Creations Challenges and join in on our monthly challenge.  The theme as always is Anything Goes.

Welcome Fall

For my card today, it was my turn to host over at Craft-Dee-BowZ.

For my project, I created this cute card using the front door dies from Spellbinder Dies.  I cut out all of the pieces for the front door.  Then I used some Tim Holtz Grit paste and a brick stencil to create the front of the house.  After I created this piece I then started building the front door.  Then I created a Fall Wreath, placed the card front onto an A2 size card base and my Welcome Fall card was almost finished.

To complete my card I made a tiny bow using my Craft-Dee-BowZ tool and adhered it to the wreath.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is Bugaboo Stamps.

Boo

Hey there, it is my turn to host over at Craft-Dee BowZ and for my hosting project I created a Trick-or-Treat Haunted House Box.

For my hosting project, I created a haunted house box, using a few Spellbinder Dies. I cut 2 pieces of the house, then I did some ink blending using Distress Oxide inks around the edges. After the edges were inked I used a brick stencil to create bricks. Then I cut the windows and the door, after cutting those I cut out a tree, cat, fence and some bats.

I made the bow using my Craft-Dee-BowZ tool and adhered it to the roof.

I plan on creating several of these cute little boxes so I can fill them with candy for the special Trick-or-Treaters that always come by my house.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge. Our sponsor for the this month is Gerda Steiner Designs.

She has some adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy. Up next is Tracey.

Miss You - Washi Tape Card

Hello there it was my turn to host over at Craft-Dee-BowZ for the month of September.

For my hosting project, I created a different type of card design.  I have not made a card using Washi Tape as the background in a very long time, so I felt the urge to do so.  It is quick, easy and fun.  I gathered a bunch of washi tape with hints of pink and decided that I wanted to create a "Missing You" card.  So off I went taping washi tape all over the front of a 5.75 x 5.75 piece of card stock.  Then I adhered this piece onto my 6 x 6 card base.  Here is what I came up with.

I made the bow using my Craft-Dee-BowZ tool. I know the bow is a bit hard to see in the top photo, so here is a close-up.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in during the challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is Cute As A Button.

Better Days are Coming

Hello there, it was my turn to post for some inspiration on the Craft-Dee BowZ July challenge.

For my hosting project, I created a card using this darling Bee Mine image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I absolutely love Mo's and I think she and The Paper Shelter are my number one artists.  Although this image is a valentine theme image I decided to use her without that theme in mind.  Besides she looks like she is ready for a party, doesn't she? I just could not resist this sweet little image.

Here is a close up of the image that I colored using my copic markers.

And here is a close up of the bow, that I made using the Craft-Dee BowZ bow tool.
