Lady Bug and Me

Hello, I'm so glad you have decided to stop by my blog today.

For my card I have created a very simple and easy design using this darling image from A Day for Daisies titled Lady Bug and Me.

First I colored my image with various Copic markers and then I created the background with two of my favorite stencils, both from My Favorite Things.  I love using stencils because I can create my own patterned papers with them.  Here I have used two stencils 1) the Sun Ray stencil and 2) a Cloud stencil.

I hope I have inspired you to try this technique and create something similar.  A Day for Daisies is our sponsor for Challenge #99 over at Little Patch of Crafty Friends.  Jump on over to join in on our challenge.

Here is a closer look at my image.

Be sure to visit our sponsor A Day for Daisies.  She has some really awesome images and again thanks for stopping by.

Until next time,
Kathy

For You

The card I have to share with you today is an image from Lemon Shortbread by the name of  For You.  Lemon Shortbread just happens to be our sponsor over at Crafty Creations Challenges for Challenge #384.

I colored the image up with various Copic Markers.
Then created a dark pink layer that I used a SSS Falling Hearts stencil and some Tonic Studios Moose in a very light pink.  Then I stamped the Sentiment "Will you be my Valentine" also from SSS.  Once everything was layered up I added a few sequins my card was finished.
Here is a closeup of  my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you will hop on over to Crafty Creations Challenges and join in on our current challenge.  The theme as always is Anything Goes.

Be sure to visit our sponsor Lemon Shortbread for some really awesome images.

Until next time,
Kathy

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello it is my turn to host over at Craft-Dee BowZ during our Monthly Challenge sponsored by Imagine That DigiStamps.
For my hosting project, I created this Inlay Style design, using a die from Memory Box.  The theme for this card is of course Valentine's Day since it is just a couple days away.  I love this little holiday because we do so much preperation for Christmas and then it is all over so quickly we need another little holiday to brighten up everything once again.

Here is an image of the card I created just using all dies and of course my handmade bow.

Here is a photo of the triple loop bow that I created with my Craft-Dee BowZ tool.

I hope I have inspired you and I hope that you will join in on all the fun during this challenge.  Our sponsor for the this month is Imagine That DigiStamps.

They have some really adorable images so please pay her a visit, I'm sure you will find something in her shop that you will enjoy.  Up next is Tracey.

Until next time,
Kathy

Valentine Pierette

Hello, here we are in the second month of 2019.  Boy how time flies.

The card I have to share with you today is an image from Imagine That DigiStamps.  The image I have chosen to create my February card with is called Pierrett.  Imagine That Digistamps is our sponsor over at Craft-Dee BowZ for this months challenge.  I fell in love with this little clown and just had to create something with it and I love how it turned out.  I'm thinking this will be given to my daughter.  Kelsee if you are reading this then you will see your valentine before the big day.  Here is a couple photos of my card.

I colored the image up with various Copic Markers, added some shimmer pen to the balloon just a little more here and there since my background pattern paper is all shiny and glittery.  I created a bow with my Craft-Dee BowZ tool and my CAS card is all finished.  Even though it is a clean and simple design, it still has those little extras to make the card really cute.

It isn't hard to create something when you have such a cute image to work with either.  Here is another shot.

And here is a close-up picture that I took of the bow that I created using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  Just a plain and simple bow sometimes is just as cute and pretty as some of the bigger bows that I like to create.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you will hop on over to Craft-Dee BowZ and join in on our monthly challenge.  The theme as always is Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.

Be sure to visit our sponsor Imagine That Digistamps.  They have a ton of really cute images.

Until next time,
Kathy
