Do You Believe in Fairies

Have you ever believed in Fairies?  As a child I always wondered if there really was fairies.  After all my mother said there was a tooth fairy, so why wouldn't there be Fairies?

We are holding another awesome challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.  Our Sponsor this month is FabrikaFantasy.

And when I seen this pretty little fairy I just had to have her.  It brought back sweet childhood memories for me.

After coloring her with my Copic markers, I layered a snowflake border die from memory Box, added a word die from my stash and added some snowflake stickers.  Added some details with glitter and a gel pen and finished up my card.

Here's a close-up to show how cute the image is.

We'd love to have you stop in and look at some of the creations created by our very talented Design Team Members, and while you are there please join in our challenge.  We'd love to have you join in on the fun.

Hugs,

Kathy

Hearts all Around

This cute little Kidz Heart from Bugaboo was created for our current Crafty Creations Challenge that we have going on.

When I seen this little image I thought I could put hearts all around her feet as if she were standing in a pool of hearts while holding one really big Valentine Heart.  Isn't she just darling.

I colored her with my Copic Markers, inked the edges with distress inks.  Cut a bunch of little hearts from white card stock and inked them with the same inks, then glued them all around her feet.

I layered the image with other papers that I had in my stash.  Used a word die from my stash added glossy accents to some of the hearts and then to the Love Die.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you like my little creation.  Please feel free to hop on over to Crafty Creations Challenges and join in on our challenge.  We'd love to see your creations.

Valentine Gift Bags

For my Tuesday project this month over at Craft-Dee BowZ, I did not create a card but something different.

As I mentioned in my last post, I simply love Valentine's Day, and when I seen these bags that Nichol Sphor made last year, I absolutely fell in love with them.  Nichol is awesome and I love all of her videos and watch them faithfully.  Her ideas and style are right up my alley and she truly inspires me.

So for my Tuesday project for Craft-Dee BowZ I wanted to share these favor bags.  It was pretty hard to photograph all the bags together in one photo so I posted a photo of each bag.  I hope you do not mind.

I stamped each image from the Mama Elephant's  Page Huggers stamp set and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  The dies are really cool because they cut a slit under each critter's paws so they can hold onto to things like this cute little envelope.  So the critters are carrying their own little valentine.  Such a cute idea.

I made these bags for the girls I call my BFF's There are five of us and 3 of us have been friends since grade school, we met the other two in high school  I will most likely share things about them as I contine to  blog because we are more than friends we are family to each other,  Might I add that it was many moons ago when we met.  So we got together to have a girls night out and a PJ party.  I wanted to give them a valentine and thought I'd make these favor bags for them and fill them with yummy chocolates.

The first bag is a little bunny.

Then I made a kitty,

Next to the kitty is a mouse.  Every cat has to have a mouse right.

Then last but not least is a bear.

I created four little cute bows, two in red and two in white for the bags.  Here is a close up of one of the bows.

I created each double loop bow using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  You can get one for yourself here.  They are so easy to use and they make very tiny to pretty big bows.  Check out some of our other team members for the awesome bows they make using the tool.

Other supplies I used was the Mama Elephants Favor Bag Die.  This bag is the perfect size and I love it.  Copic Markers in various colors, card stock from my stash.  The heart background stamp is from Impression Obsession.  The sentiment is from CC Designs.  I love mixing and matching my stamps,

I hope I have not bored you with all the photos, I just wanted to show how cute each image is.  And please hop on over to Craft-Dee BowZ and join in on our challenge this month.  There is always a lot of inspiration from not just our Team Members but also from each and everyone who joins in on the challenge..  Next up will be Tracy and I am sure she will have something really special to share with you.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you.  Have a Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow.

I Love You

February is the month of Valentine's Day and Love.  Not just to your sweetheart but to all those you love.  My Mom always made Valentine's Day special to not just my dad, but to my brother and I. She was always showing her love to all the special people in her life.  So I guess it rubbed off on me, because I always made sure my children and nieces, now my great nieces and great nephews something special for Valentine's Day, whether it is a card a little prize or a special cookie for my dogs.  Yes they get a valentine too,

For my Craft-Dee BowZ February challenge, I chose this cut I Love You image from this month's sponsor Bugaboo.  It just reminded me of my Mom for some reason and I knew I wanted to create a special card.

I colored my image using my Copic markers.

Dies and ribbon are from my stash.  I made a very simple bow with my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to show you that you can make any kind of bow from big luscious bows that our really awesome Design Team Members make to something very simple but cute too.

Once I finished coloring the image I added some details with my white gel pen and black glaze pen, wink of stella and glossy accents.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed this card because I sure enjoyed coloring the image and making this card with it.
